Disappointed from the ...

Disappointed from the start. The cheap plastic sleeve the punches came in was destroyed and the punches were loose in the box. The smallest punch was bent from the get go. It bent further with very little force put on it. As far as functionality for the price, they are okay. I only use them to remove the trigger/hammer pins from my AR. I will be buying a new punch set when the time comes to do any real gun work. For what I'm currently using them for, I guess I'd recommend them for the price. For anything other than easy pin removals, I wouldn't recommend them.

Have used these punches ...

Have used these punches many times since I bought them, but most recently while assembling a stripped AR lower. They worked great, and the smaller punches held up even while I walloped on a particularly frustrating bolt catch pin. Given how prone I am to destroying punches of any type of metal, I'm pretty pleased with how they've held up. If I do manage to break them I wouldn't hesitate to buy another set. The only improvement I could suggest is to include a few smaller punches for knocking out those extra small pins.

Nice set of punches. The ...

Nice set of punches. The day I got them I used them on 4 guns for sight drifting and dissassembly. Punches are adequately hard to do the job and soft enough to not mar the gun. I do wish they had included one smaller punch. I do recommend these.

Excellent set for the ...

Excellent set for the price - though it could use a couple of smaller punches overall to make it complete (and earn the 5th star...). I used these to punch out the front stock site on a Ruger 10/22 to install Tech Sights - and they worked to get the new site in as well. I did see some tip damage - but they are brass so that should be expected and they did not mark the old or new sites at all, which is the goal. These work well on the larger pins in the receiver, but are just too big for those smaller pins. I would recommend these overall.

Not a good punch set at all. Punch bent and the tip mushroomed on first use. AR15 Gas Block 1, Wheeler Punch Set 0. Would not recommend.

Great product for the price. Doesn't include the smaller punches for small pin removals, but great for sight adjustments/instillation, AR pins, etc.
