Apex Tactical produced the Action Enhancement Trigger (AEK) for the Smith and Wesson M&P to work with all calibers and configurations of this popular pistol. Machined of solid aluminum billet, this part is hard coat anodized for reliability and durability under all conditions. This drop in part will work in conjunction with the popular Action Enhancement Kit, or as a stand allow product. This trigger allows for an improvement in trigger control while reducing pre-travel and over-travel but still remains safe for use as a duty carry gun or for competitive shooting. The center-mounted pivoting safety design creates a trigger block that will only disengage when the trigger finger is placed directly on the trigger face. This not only prevents unintended operation, it also encourages the user to squeeze the trigger directly with the bore axis of the gun.
