Excellent mount. Very ...

Excellent mount. Very clean machining, proper mounting hole alignment, and looks great for the tactical look. The Burris tactical rings have held perfectly up to my .308 recoil without a single move of zero. After re-mounting my scope, the zero was just 1 click off (1/8 moa scope) after remounting. Great price from midway for a great mount.

I got this with the intent of swapping my QD mounted scope from an AR-10 to a Remington 700. There was too much of a difference in the tolerances between the mil-spec rail and this rail so the QD mount moved after every shot changing my point of impact. I imagine if you were going to use this for a more typical set-up with a dedicated set of rings it would work fine.

Perfect fit. Why buy a $100.00 Picatinny Base??? This is my second one. Put one on my Rem VTR .308 and now on my VTR .223. Great product at a great price.

The base was of excellent ...

The base was of excellent craftsmanship. the holes lined up nicely, and it lines up flush against the action. The reason why I'm giving it 2 stars is because it didn't come with the screws needed to mount the base (without the screws the base is useless), and when I contacted egw they basically said it's your problem.

For the price these ...

For the price these mounts can't be beat! Well worth the money and seem to be as durable as the more expensive steel/aluminum mounts as far as I can tell. The extended front that extends forward past the receiver is a nice touch for anyone like me that needs the scope mounted farther forward than asual. Good product will buy again...... as a matter of fact I did!

Mounted this base on a Rem 700 LTR .308 Win With Burris Extreme Tactical Rings fired my first round windage was perfect! I only had to adjust for vertical. I'd say the mounting holes were perfect with the bore.

I have two of these bases ...

I have two of these bases one on a 300 wsm and the other on a 308 win. I removed the original bases and mounted the 20moa bases both were well machined and true 20moa bases the holes lined up nicely. I was more than pleased with these bases and would recomend them to anyone.
