Sierra MatchKing bullets have very thin jackets and are held to exacting tolerances in diameter and weight. These Hollow Point Boat Tail bullets have a small meplat to produce a higher ballistic coefficient. Their accuracy has been acclaimed worldwide and they have been used to win more target competitions than all target bullets from other manufacturers combined. The 6mm 107 Grain MatchKing has established a reputation of extreme accuracy at very long ranges, making it the bullet of choice for High Power and Silhouette shooters. This is not loaded ammunition.

I am very pleased with this bullet for use in both of my Hart, 7" twist barrels. Both rifles will shoot groups in the .5" to 1" range at 200 yds. I am loading at velocities between 2500 and 2750 fps with Varget powder to maximize barrel life. Very effective for long range target shooting, with little recoil.

Take the barrel twist note seriously. They may not stabilize in .243's or 6mm's with standard 9" twist. I've shot just 10 of these at starting loads and OAL at 2.85". The target holes are elongated, my barrel isn't stabilizing them. Adjusting the throat "jump" might help, but I doubt it. These should be viewed as special purpose bullets, only for barrels they're intended for (my fault for not reading the product information carefully).

..I use these in a custom build 6mmXC..at 100yrds. the bullets just keep going thru the same hole!!!..using H4350..Sierra MK's are a good price compared to some other high end target bullets..I am going to buy more of theses.

Very good bullet for ...

Very good bullet for F-class comp. The high BC bucks the wind helping me hold a 10 and x ring. Its all I shoot from my 7.5 twist .243 in competition.

Good Bullet BUT! the ...

Good Bullet BUT! the Berger and the Nosler 105's will outshoot it every day all day. I shot these for years but no longer do as the Berger 105 VLD is a better bullet and the same price. And the Berger is more consistent as is the Nosler. This bullet is less forgiving about seating depth and powder choice than a Berger or Nosler. Its a good Bullet but there are better match bullets out there for the same or less money.

I forgot to mention one ...

I forgot to mention one thing. It needs a fast twist barrel to stabilize. A 7 or 8 twist is needed. I use an 8 twist Douglas XX Air gauge and its perfect. A 1-10 may not stabilize it.

Absolutely a true, and ...

Absolutely a true, and accurate bullet. I used it in my Ruger No. 1b, this is normally a finicky barrel, but this round made the difference. I've shot several bullet weights through this barrel and this one (107 grains) did the trick. For my rifle it shot better with H4350 than H4831.

This Bullet takes the ...

This Bullet takes the .243 cal. to a new and exceptional level. With a Ballistic Coefficient of .527 it will "REACH OUT" there!!! It's superbly accurate. I shoot in my 6mm-06 and 6mmBR and 243 WSSM. It gave amazing groups in the .25 to.370 in all chamberings. It's winning 1000 yard matches. It can be driven fast (6mm-06) or slower (6mmBR) and it performs great at both ends of the spectrum. easy to load also.

Used in 6mm Remington for ...

Used in 6mm Remington for 600 yd competition. HeavySporter weight barrel with 1 in 8 twist. Bullet does a fantastic job and gives very tight groups all the way out to 600 yds. I have a lot of confidence in this bullet. Loaded with 40 grs of RL 15./ 2975 fps.
