Sierra BlitzKing bullets were specifically designed to combine the well-known accuracy of the MatchKing with devastating and explosive expansion on varmints. The thin copper jackets enhance accuracy and allow for extreme expansion which is initiated by the green, polymer tip. These bullets were designed to be fired at velocities up to 4400 fps.

Outstanding bullet. ...

Outstanding bullet. Shoots .2 -.3's at 100yds pushed to 3400fps with H335 and actually groups slightly better than the 52gr matchking in my .223 rifle. Have tried several other brands but sierras have been second to none. Did I mention it smacks groundhogs like a hammer?

I use these in an XP-100 ...

I use these in an XP-100 silhouette handgun in 221 fireball. my gun absolutely loves the BlitzKing's. The metal jacket on these is just thin enough to deform into the rifling and yet the core is firm enough to stand up to 2800 fps from a 10 1/2 inch barrel. Shot from the bench I get just over 1/2 inch groups at 80 yards and 1 inch groups at 125 yards from a handgun. Anyone doing serious smallbore shooting should at least try the BlitzKing's. They outshoot my Hornady v-max loads, with the same case, charge, and pistol, hands down.

I have fired this bullet ...

I have fired this bullet in a Cooper rifle with 1 in 14" twist. Shooting H380 , it is consistently sub half inch for 5 shots at 100 yards. Seated .020 off the lands.

Great bullet. Very accurate. Explosive on squirrels. Cost is an issue when shooting 4-5 thousand rounds a year at squirrels. Bulk TNT's and Hornady's do as well on squirrels and are cheaper.

I shot these in a .223 ...

I shot these in a .223 Rem. VSSF I used H-4895 & Win. pri's. I got 5 shot groups from 5/16 to 1/2 inch.

This is another ...

This is another outstanding bullet from Sierra. Out of a Weatherby SOB-MOA Vangard .223 with a 1-12" twist, W/H414, best group was .035" center to center holes at 100 yards. I highly recommend this bullet. Try it and work up from about mid range. H335 & W748 are also excellent powders!!!

I just tried these for the first time out of my Savage Model 12. They consistently shoot .3 inch 5 shot groups at 100 yards or better for me. I use IMR 4007 SSC and Winchester LR primers and seat the bullet .023 off of the rifling. I also use moly coated 50 gr. Hornady V-Maxs over IMR 4007 SSC and Winchester LR primers seated touching the rifling and get 5 shot groups at 100 yards measuring .35"

Sierra BlitzKing bullets ...

Sierra BlitzKing bullets 40 and 50 grain perform as well as custom bullets in the accuracy department, and are very frangible, making them ideal on eastern groundhogs. The BC of the 50 grer is the highest of the 50 gr. 223 cal bullets I've used. In my 223AI and 22-250's, the 50 gr. BlitzKing has become my favorite bullet. Similarly, the 40 gr. BlitzKing is my bullet of choice in my 223's. In the past several years, since they became available, I've shot several thousand of them.

Great bullet. ...

Great bullet. Consistently shoots .2 MOA 5 shots groups or better from my Savage LRPV in .22-250. Very explosive on water filled pop bottles at 300 and beyond. Also shoots .5 MOA in my Remington XR-100.
