Product Information

Sierra MatchKing bullets have very thin jackets and are held to exacting tolerances in diameter and weight. These Hollow Point Boat Tail bullets have a small meplat to produce a higher ballistic coefficient. Their accuracy has been acclaimed worldwide and they have been used to win more target competitions than all target bullets from other manufacturers combined. The 30 Caliber 155 Grain MatchKing was designed for use in PALMA competitions which require extreme accuracy at 800, 900, and 1000 yards. This is not loaded ammunition.

I use these in NRA F Class competition. Their BC allows them to remain Supersonic at 1000+ yards. I shoot these over 46.8gr of Varget. Thy are amazing. I wish they were more abundant. I normally have to settle for the 168gr HPBT Matchkings, which work OK, the 155gr Palmas are the top dog. The down side is the scarcity of the product.

My Siaga .308 loves these bullets, particularly with IMR 8208 powder. Ten shot groups less than an inch at 100 yards. It's the best bullet I've tried in that rifle.

Superb bullet in Savage F/TR. Sub 1/2 minute accuracy at 600yds at 2960fps MV. Recent match winner at local 800 yd. F-class match, shooting 146/150 w/7x's. Highly recommended

I purchased these 2156's a while back and they sat on the bench for a year...I have just recently been loading them in my 308 10fp and my 100atr in 30-06. I must say i have a new favorite bullet..these driven slow or fast seem to hold tight groups..I am sending them down the 30-06 barrel at 3158fps and they stay sub MOA..I use H4350 in the 06. I will do some testing on expansion and see what these are capable of...so far i like them

This is a superb bullet. I shot a 4 shot group at 500 yards with my Remington 700XCR Compact. 3 of the 4 bullets were in a 1" group with the one flyer (probably attributable to me). Can't ask for better than that.

I recently started working up a load for a new .308 project gun with a Howa 1500 Barreled Action. Using H-322, I had two 3-shot groups of .169" and .179" at 100 yds. I'd say both the rifle and the load have potential. I still need to fine-tune the load and shoot some 5 and 10-shot groups.

I bought these when they first came out. Use them in a Rem 600 Mohawk 18" bbl and shoot consistent moa. I use them primarily as a hunting round and they definitely do the trick on Deer. If they had rope you could call them an anchors! Three deer in three shots and three steps at 100 -125 yds

1-12 twist .308 Winchester barrels love these bullets. Varget powder, Remington brass and Winchester primers give me less than .35 consistently at 100 yds and I have had 3 shot one hole groups at 200 yards using these bullets.
