MatchKing rifle bullets are super-accurate bullets with very thin jackets and are held to exacting tolerances in diameter and weight. Their accuracy has been acclaimed worldwide and they have been used to win more target competitions than all target bullets from other manufacturers combined. Weight retention is held to within +/- 0.3 grain. Each bullet is a hollow point and is designed with a very small meplat in order to achieve the highest ballistic coefficient possible. The 7mm 168 Grain MatchKing has become a very popular choice for long ranges between 600 and 1000 yards. It has excelled at almost all types of long range rifle competitions. This is not loaded ammunition.

I load this bullet with IMR 4350 in a custom built .280 Rem target rifle. The rifle prints groups in the 1/2" range at 100 yds with these bullets. I stopped developing loads after I found this bullet/powder combo. Can't say enough good things about it.

I load for a 7mm Rem Mag Sendero. I've pushed a 168gr SMK between 100-400 yards. My last outing at 100 yards resulted in a 5 shot group that measured .497. To say the least I am very pleased and will continue to use this combination for many years to come.

In the early 1980's I had a custom rifle built in 7mm Rem Mag with thechamber specifically cut for Sierra's 168 g BTHPM bullet at the instructions ofmy rifle coach (an army sniper with three tours in SE Asia) (I don't competewith anyone but myself, to date my smallest three shot group was .378" @ 100yards.). I built a load for this gun base on weighting out each bullet. WhenI began this twenty years ago, each box of bullets would have 15 to 30 or sobullets each in one of five weights. 168.1 thru 167.7 and below. Recently Iweighed out another box. Ninety of them were 167.9 + or - 1/2 grain. And theten that were 'out of spec' were so by only 1/2 a grain. In short, Sierra's bullets' consistency is so close to perfect that I am going to need to getfiner scales if I am going to be able to stay awake long enough to weigh thenext box. By the way, I know they don't recommend this bullet for hunting,but it works great on Kansas Deer if you pick your shots.

If looking for a 7MM Mag Match bullet, this is the one to go with. EXCELLENT Performer out to 1000 yards. Have had wonderful success with this bullet.

This has got to be the most accurate 168gr bullet for the 7MM REM MAG ever...I shoot this bullet in my Remington MODEL 700 POLICE BOLT ACTION RIFLE and shoot a one hole three shot group every time I go to the range. I hand load this bullet in Remington and Nosler brass with a match primer and RL22 powder this makes up the best load that I have found.

The most consistant 7mm bullet I have ever used (20yrs playing with 7mm).Demonstrates 1/2MOA to any realistic distance from a stock Sendero.

Best accuracy I've ever achieved in my 7mm WSM Browning A-Bolt is with these 168 gr Bullets. Great for shooting targets. I'd say they are 50% more accurate than the best of dozens of other bullets I've tried.

This bullet works great out of a 7mm WSM Sako bench rest rifle shoots .370 at a 100 yards off sand bags with a 3-9 hunting scope can't wait to see what it will do with a high power target duplex scope.
