The redesigned Nikon ProStaff Rifle Scope is the ideal choice for the shooter or the hunter on a budget. This scope features multi-coated lenses providing 90% light transmission, 1/4 MOA click windage and elevation adjustments with the updated finger adjustable turrets and generous eye relief so you won't have to worry when shooting a heavy recoiling rifle. The power selection ring and eye piece has been updated to include a fast focus eyepiece and easy grip power selection ring. ProStaff scopes are also water, fog and shockproof and the Mil-Dot reticle is only available at MidwayUSA. All Nikon products include Nikon USA's full or limited warranty. Nikon ProStaff Rifle Scopes are covered by a lifetime factory warranty.

Excellent rating from me for the current price point. 90% light transmission, clear edge to edge. Mil-Dot is sharp and is set at 12 power. Mounted to an AR with Burris pepr mount with great results. .5 groups or better with this scope and has not budged on accuracy. Got this as a crutch until my Vortex PST comes in but will definitely mount on something else because it is a rock solid scope. Great buy.

Clear optics and I like the adjustments BUT, my impressions were like looking thru the scope backwards…..small and unmagnified. I was just unimpressed… I can't put my finger on why exactly? I will use the scope on something, just not on my CZ452 17HMR Varmint. I ended up using an old Simmons 6.5-20 spare scope that I had with Japanese glass. I like Nikon stuff, I was just unimpressed with this particular scope.

Put this on a M77/22 Hornet Ruger using the Ruger-supplied rings. Looks very nice, indeed. The scope is clear, the reticle as expected, and it helps me hit stuff out to about 200 yards (kinda' my personal limit with 69-year-old eyes). Sure, I'd like a Leupold, a Zeiss, Nightforce, Swarovski, etc., but for the money, I consider the Nikon a great value for my purposes. You would too.

Great clarity for a mid-priced scope. Adjustments are easy to make and very simple to sight in your rifle. I would look at this model again if I need another scope....good value for the price.

We now have 3 of these scopes. Bought one last year after deer season because the scope I had did not have enough light gathering capability.
Purchased one for my .270
Just bought a 308 installed one on it, wife shot it and liked it so much I just put one on her .270 tonight!

Great Scope!

I put this scope on my Daniel Defense M4v7 in 6.8 SPC, and I use it for deer hunting and some target use. This isn't just a great scope for the money, it's just a great scope, period...for my applications anyways. The light gathering is great. I was just in the stand this morning before the sun came up and was able to scan the woodline across a 120 yard field. I couldn't make anything out with the naked eye, but the scope let me see clear images of every branch over there. The images are really clear. When I zeroed the scope at 100 yards, I could easily see the holes where the rounds were impacting. The reticle stays clear, but maybe a little on the thin side for my taste. I wouldn't say it's too thin, but I'd like it a tad thicker. Eye relief is also great. I'm not a scope guru or anything, but I love this thing. I cant imagine being much happier with a scope, for what I do.

Spot on Adjustments. Sweet clarity and good power. This a perfect scope for a coyote hunting rig. 8 shots after a quick mount and adjustment and 3 of them eight were a 1/4 inch three shot group with my 22-250. Solid clicks and they go exactly 1/4 inch.

I have this scope mounted on my 20" AR with a 1/2 in riser. Scope was quick to zero and the turrets/focus feel tight and smooth. I like it so much, I might have to buy a 2nd to mount on a different gun later on.

Spectacular scope, love it. First higher priced scope (over $100) I've bought and couldn't be happier. Well built, great light transfer, and easy to use. Put it on my Remington 700 30-06 and the guy who suggested the scope covers was very useful. Love Nikon's cameras and now their scopes as well. Definitely pick this up.

This scope has great light transmission and tracks very well. But the Mil-Dot does not magnify when increasing the magnification so the mils are only accurate on a specific magnification, so I still need to find that magnification setting, otherwise the scope is great and I have dropped it once or twice and it still kept its zero.

Terrific scope, great price, clear glass, good mil dot reticle, nice magnification, plus you can send in for a free mil dot master tool, just pay postage. If you don't know what that is, Google it, very cool and useful to shoot with. Mounted the scope on a bushmaster 5.56 predator with 20" heavy fluted barrel. Outstanding results at all ranges. Those zombie prairie dogs haven't got a chance ;-) So happy, I just bought another for a newly acquired .308
