It does reduce the long trigger reset. Installation is relatively easy as long as you study the location of the original pieces prior to disassembly. I did not need the de-cocking lever because I purchased this kit for my vintage 1994 P228.

This is a nice drop-in upgrade for the Sig trigger. The reset is cut by about 2/3 the travel distance. There is a catch though- single action pull weight did go up slightly, and there is more overtravel than the stock trigger (the SRT single action has a longer and stiffer break). For quick recovery shots though, this system is much better.

An absolutely awesome upgrade for your 220 or 226 or another sig its available for. The reset's reduction is drastic and really helps to keep the trigger movement to a minimum. If you can remove your sear you can install this. Again just an all around awesome product by sig. Thanks midway
