This GG&G Spring Activated Flip-Up Rear Sight comes equipped with an XS Sights Same Plane Rear Aperture that allows the shooter to change aperture size without changing the rifle's zero. The rear sight is deployed with the simple push of a button under spring pressure, and can only be laid flat by depressing the same actuator button to eliminate the possibility of accidently lowering the sight until the user is ready and consciously acts to do so. Windage adjustments are made via a large, tactile knob, with each click changing point of impact .48 MOA on a 20" AR-15 rifle or .65 MOA on a 16" AR-15 carbine. Machined from solid billet 6061-T6 Aluminum and finished in a Type III Hard Coat Anodizing, the rear sight weighs in at 2.4 ounces.
