One awesome scope

I had this scope on a custom Win M70 6mm-06 (my goat gun) for the last several years and took several deer and antelope...crystal clear to the edges, this scope really brought them in under all conditions. Just recently migrated it to a DPMS Prairie Panther Winter Camo to be my yote gun. Can't wait to try out the illuminated reticle under a full moon. When my buddies look through the scope they just shake their head and mumble, "it shouldn't be allowed"...best scope I've ever owned, but I'll admit its a little on the heavy side.

Compare the Leupold tactical Mark IV scopes to the Burris Tactical and you will choose the Burris everytime! Light transmission (especially twilight conditions), clarity, absolute tube and mechanical rigidity, solid, repeatable click adjustments, and tough as nails construction (weight is a factor here), are all excellent attributes of this particular 3-12x 50mm tactical rifle scope. For the price, they compete with the big boys easily. Holds zero better than any other scope I have ever owned.Do not hesitate to buy a Burris Tactical scope, especially if you can find one that was a factory return or warranty work: they are guaranteed for life. Excellent quality product!

Great clarity and very ...

Great clarity and very sharp contrast!! Excellent glass! For the money it's hard if not impossible to find a competing scope. But it is quite long in size and heavy, although it's in range with scopes from Nightforce in its category as far as weight. The extra weight comes from it being built extremely tough and thick tube walls. Illuminated reticle performs well as does the ballistic mil dot for .308 just be sure to look at the weight and to make sure you need all that. That being said this is a scope I can throw around and not worry at all about losing zero. Closest thing it would compare to is Leupold mark 4 which is close to $1500.
