Product Information

The Tacstar Pressure Switch End Cap allows for remote on/off operation of the flashlight with fingertip pressure on the activation pad. Features a curly cord that expands up to ten inches for convenient placement on the firearm. Velcro tape is included for placement of the activation pad. The end cap is precision machined from Delrin for an exact fit on the flashlight.

Does not work with Streamlight Jr LED. The cap threads are wrong (male vs. female). Maybe it's only for the incandescent version of the Streamlight Jr.

Switch fit mini-mag lite ...

Switch fit mini-mag lite on my shotgun perfectly. Didn't use velcro that came with switch. Used a heavier strip of velcro I had around house. Wiped area of forend with Naptha, and applied velcro and switch. Works perfectly for total control of light. Does not interfere with pump action, and stays put for thumb control of light. Mini mag light is 2 AA style.

Maybe there is something different between the standard AA mag lite and the LED AA mag lite. When I tried to use it, the spring in the bottom was not long enough. I could hear the batteries were loose. I stretched the spring out and twisted it with the original spring in the LED mag lite to make it longer. It works now. Looking at the solder points, I'm not sure how sturdy this thing is. I'm only putting it on a .223, so it should be okay... I guess.

I had to stretch out the end cap spring as well, but other than that it works great. It's a good way to have a firearm mounted light without spending a lot of money. It works like it should and I haven't had any functioning problems with it.
