This high quality reamer is used to remove the dimples found in many Remington 870 magazine tubes. Removal of the magazine tube dimples allows the installation of a magazine extension for increased capacity. By turning both of the adjusting nuts the same direction, the reamer can be made larger and smaller. For best results, material should be incrementally removed until the final adjustment is the inside diameter of the magazine tube. Working slowly and using cutting oil and a good tap handle will prevent damaging the magazine tube.
