A lot of fitting required.

Weekend gunsmiths beware. As some of the other reviewers have commented, there is a lot of fitting required. The problem I had that nobody has commented on yet is the grip screw hole seems to be drilled off center making it very difficult to secure to the lower (a Rock River, by the way). I had to use a Dremel to relieve the hole ever so slightly. Don't go too far as the screw head won't have any purchase to hold the grip. I also had the same other issues the other reviewers have commented on. The safety detent hole on mine was a bit deep, which required some back filling to get the spring to sit higher for a more positive engagement. I also had to relieve about 1/16" with a Dremel to accommodate the safety selector itself. I'm not sure the enhanced ergonomics are worth the trouble.

I have tried just about every grip made for the AR platform and this one gives the best trigger position and accommodates a high or low hand position. As the other reviewers have noted though, the safety detent spring hole is drilled about 3/16" too deep and the left side of the grip will need to have a little material removed so the safety will be able to arc through it's normal travel. Otherwise, it's the kitty's PJs.

Fits my hand better than any other AR-15 grip I have tried. Hole for safety spring was too deep. I had to remove approximately 1/16" material from the left side of the grip in order to use the safety on my Rock River lower.

Does a much better job of filling the hand than a stock grip, leaving the shooter's trigger finger better placed and the thumb fully supported. On my grip the hole for the safety spring was overlong and required a little filling before the safety would reliably engage.
