First of all I'll admit that I knew virtually nothing about slings and swivels when ordering this. Wish I had. The swivels appear to be of quality construction, so no problems. The package includes a small cylindrical spanner wrench with which to remove the retaining ring holding the bolt. This near worthless wrench is the reason I'm only giving four stars. It's a finger wrench and I couldn't manage enough force to even budge the ring. It also doesn't have any flat surfaces to let you use an open-end/box-end wrench. Before resorting to the vise-grip pliers I decided to remove the QD machine screw swivel base and insert it into the mystery threaded hole of the barrel lug on my Mossberg 500. Success. Exact same threads. Just wish I'd known what I was doing in advance so I wouldn't have bought parts I didn't need.
