I have used it for over a ...

I have used it for over a year and never had a problem with it. I have been reloading for over 20 years. I had used a RCBS dial polymer for years and never had a problem with it. But I wanted to update to electronic and have used it repeatedly since I have purchased it. I have not had a problem with it. I would rate it 5 stars. I have other Lyman products and very happy with all of them.

I have purchased two of these calipers for home and work. The first was purchased two years ago. I also have a 12" Mitotoyo electronic calipers and these have done everything they do, at less than 1/3rd the price.

The 6" Lyman Stainless ...

The 6" Lyman Stainless Steel Electronic Caliper appeared to be a good caliper for the money but when I removed it from it's case and turned it on, it turned on but would not zero. According to the QC tag in the case this caliper was "tested" on 10/3/08 so it certainly is very new. I was quite surprised to find it defective right out of the box. This in no way reflects on Midway USA as the caliper case was sealed from the factory. In fact Midway did not hesitate to "make it right" for me when I called them. I am however suspicious of Lymans quality control at this point and will think twice about purchasing their products in the future. That being said, I also own a Lyman Digital trigger pull gauge that I have had no problems with.
