The DeSantis Intruder is designed for both concealment and comfort. It is tuck-able and adjustable for both height and cant. The holster back consists of top grain premium steer-hide and the leather front component is finished with a supremely durable polyurethane film for lasting beauty. Each Intruder is molded from genuine Kydex sheet to exact specifications.

Great holster and price.. The only problem I have with it is the belt clips are VERY stiff. You nearly need to slip the belt through them rather than clip them over your belt.. Get the J hooks and save your fingers. :)

Couldn't give it a 4 star but not by much. The Kydex is thinner than I thought and it pinches the gun making a tight draw and complicating the reholstering, not so much that it stops either. Still works well and fits snug against body. Wish the leather was larger to stop some of the grip rubbing against the skin. Still not stopping me from using it.

Great holster, holds my 1911's inplace nicely, quality workmanship. It's easy to carry a fullsize without being noticed, just by putting a shirt over it. I did also order one for my Glock 19 there the fit was very loose and the gun would easily fall out of the holster unlike the 1911 fit.

Great concealment and comfortable.. Clips are a "bear" to get on and off your belt but that problem aside a really nice holster for the money.

My go-to CCW holster.Not ...

My go-to CCW holster.Not as easy to get on/off as a paddle, but far more secure. Hugs the guns very close to the body; at the 4 o'clock it hides a full size 1911 under a shirt or polo very well. Retention is perfect.I do wish the leather tang extended a bit further back to stand between the safety and my body. Chances of accidental deactivation are still very slim, (and even then an ND almost impossible other than poor draws technique) it would give me a little more peace of mind.The front cocking serrations on my DE1911 did scuff the leather a bit - as yet nothing that would affect function, and not visible, just something to keep your eye on.Overall a fantastic CCW holster, one I'd recommend to a friend any day.

Great holster, carries very well, good retention, keeps gun close to body, distributes guns weight evenly. I have since ordered more for other guns. If you have to put your holster on/off a lot or you are concerned with holster wear you might want to consider something else.

Has held up real well for the year I have been using it and it is still strong. The snap is a bit stiff at first but it broke in very fast and doesnt come undone unless I want it to. I use it almost daily. It's very comfortable and rides well when I drive either a compact car or my full size truck. I carry a full size or commander size 1911 in it with no issues of tilting or hanging. It hugs my body quite well and is easy to just toss a shirt over it. To the best of my knowledge no one had "made" me using it. I would highly recommend it.
