This is a high quality product that should last a long time. Stacks neatly, and is smaller than two 50's. Perfect for a trip to the range. I like to use them for processing large quantities of brass. When the box is full, I just open it upside down and slip the lid w/ brass into a baggie. No muss or fuss. It's also easy to see the difference between 9mm and 380 brass when they are in the ammo box. I have brass in various stages of case prep work, and these boxes help me to maintain order. Highly recommended.

The .45 caliber boxes (in clear red) are great, but the all green 9mm boxes, aren't that nice. The problem I have with them are the hinges. I don't know if it is the same with all the colors based on the pictures, but the all-green boxes I bought have just a thin, softer plastic, that serves for the hinge. This is an issue for 2 main reason: 1) The box's lid is under tension, so it will not stay open very well, like the proper hinged cases. 2) After a little while this plastic will get worn out and crack, and the lid may separate from the bottom of the box, rendering the whole thing useless. If it weren't for the hinge, I'd like them a lot better; I'll probably return the green ones and wait to try out the blue.

These are excellent ammo boxes. They're great for reloads or even for your factory loaded ammo. They take up less space than two boxes of 50 rounds, and stack easily. You can also see through the top when they are closed so you have a visual of how many rounds are left in the box without opening it. I have some for .45 ACP also, and those are just as good, only a little bigger so they don't stack with the 9mm size.

Some of the people on here said to stay away from the green boxes because they didn't have the same hinges. The 2 I ordered had the same hinges as the other colors of the same box that I have. So I'm guessing they fixed that problem.

I exchanged the unimpressive green boxes for the translucent blue ones and the blue ones are much better; now I realize why blue is usually out of stock and green isn't. The blue boxes have the real hinges like the 45 caliber translucent red boxes I bought previously and that really makes the difference. Now the lid will open all the way and rest on the table or bench, and I doubt the hinges will break unless abused. If the translucent colors are out of stock, I recommend waiting for them, rather than buying the opaque green ones.

Excellent case with a ...

Excellent case with a good strong latch. You can pick up a fully loaded case by the lid and not worry about the latch popping open. I've had mine for a little over a year and I can tell they will last for decades. The labels they come with are pretty nice too. I would recommend putting some lamination sheet over it. That way you can write on it with a sharpie and erase it with rubbing alcohol. Then you can reuse the label over and over!

Great case! I was very surprised by how small and compact the case was. Doesn't feel like a cheaply made case either, as it held up just fine even after tumbling around in my range bag. Mine came with a " Made in the USA " stamp.
