MTM Flip-Top Belt-Style Ammo Boxes are a great way to protect ammunition from moisture and dust. Each cartridge fits into its own recess bullet down for easy removal with the internal ribs helping to prevent bullets from touching the bottom of the box helping to minimize noise from rattling ammunition. The secure Snap-Lok latch prevents accidental openings. Box is worn on users belt.

The product is solid. I like the flip top design and ability to clip it on to your belt. It sure beats carrying a slip top case when preditor or small game hunting. This is why I give it 5 stars.

Now, I bought 2 of these (one to use for 222 Rem and the other for 204 Ruger). 222 Rem fits just fine but a little warning, Hornady V-MAX rounds in 204 (what I shoot) will not allow the lid to close on this case making it useless with this ammo and I assume any ballistic tip style 204 will provide the same results. If you plan on using this with a HP or SP in 204 Ruger you should be fine but it will be a no go with ballistic tipped rounds in 204.

I called Midway and they are shipping me the next biggest flip top case (Product 285636) free of any charges to try because of the 204 Ruger ballistic tip problem I just described. Thank you Midway!
