I installed these on my Remington 870P, along with a cotton M1 Garand-style sling. The swivels are very strong and secure, easy to take on and off, and look great.

Will not work out of the ...

Will not work out of the box on heavy leather National Match or 1903 type slings. Slot is too narrow, and loop has a "squared" profile with forming ridges in the I.D. that prevent the heavy leather from sliding easily. Nearly impossible to "sling up" with these installed. Use a round or oval jewelers file and crocus cloth to relieve the ridge on the I.D. Work better, but not nearly as well as heavy wire loop style swivels. Otherwise, well made and secure.

My first pair worked ...

My first pair worked great for almost a year, then started getting stuck and required pliers to get open. I bought two more sets which had issues out of the box. When they are opened all the way, they are nearly impossible to get unstuck without some excessive force. When examining all three sets, I noticed that they all are slightly different. I gave this product a good, because when you get a good batch they work well.

These are nice, solid swivels as others have mentioned. The only thing I don't like about them is the thickness and shape of the loop is not good with the metal hook end of a GI Web Sling. For any other type of sling they will serve perfectly.

These are great. Solid and good looking. The quick release feature really is QR but can't accidently release. I have several sets on some high dollar rifles.
