Product Information
The REDI-MAG keeps a spare AR-15 magazine handy and attached to the rifle for fast reloads, plus protects the waiting magazine's feed lips and ammunition stack from the elements or potential damage. There are now only two models of Redi-Mag rather than four. One is standard attachment and the other quick attach. Each uses the patented independent magazine release of the Gen II, and both now include a new version of a patented Bolt Catch Extension (P-BCE) made from weapons grade polymer. This new P-BCE is larger at the mounting section and will not work with previous Redi-Mags. No compromises have been made in this process, and in fact the system is even more reliable than it was before. In addition to lightning fast magazine changes, the Redi-Mag gives the advantage of a much quicker reload while prone or in an awkward cover position. It is hard to get to your spare magazines while lying on them!
