Cratex Points are designed to aid in polishing molds, dies, patterns and light castings. Can also be used to clean contact points, solder spots, and relieving stress, deburring and damaskeening.

  • Premium quality Silicon Carbide abrasive
    Notes:
  • Cratex rubber bonded abrasives can be shaped using conventional abrasive wheel dressing tools
  • Wheels with 1/16" arbor hole require wheel mandrel #143055
  • Points with 1/16" arbor hole require point mandrel#695261
  • Points with 1/8" arbor hole require point mandrel #643261
  • Cratex blocks or cylinder sticks may be used for hand work or can be chucked for mechanical application

    Abrasive Grades and Colors:
  • Coarse is Green, 46 grit
  • Medium is Dark Brown, 90 grit
  • Fine is Reddish Brown, 120 grit
  • Extra Fine is Gray Green, 240 grit
