This bullet in my eyes is ...

This bullet in my eyes is perfect. I recently used it in my Thompson Omega. It shot great groups open sights. From the factory my Omega shot a 1 inch group at 65 yards with this gun. I killed a doe this year so far, at 20 yards, and it was trough and through and believe me there was no losing this deer if a blind man could follow this blood trail. In my eyes Powerbelt is the way to go.

Opening day of deer ...

Opening day of deer season 10 point 170 lb, 115 yds, CVA Optima Magnum right through the heart. The deer traveled 20 yds and dropped used Pyrodex pellets. Nice groups at the range also. I will use again.

Awesome bullets in my cva ...

Awesome bullets in my cva pro optima. Cuts holes at 100 yards with triple 7 powder. Shot two deer so far at 50 yards with this load and bullet knocked both right down. Great knockdown power. If you use an inline rifle these are the bullets to use in it period...

Sub-par accuracy (4+ ...

Sub-par accuracy (4+ inches @ 100 yards) in my Encore and so-so performance on deer, are the reasons I quit using Power Belts. All other bullets I tried were more accurate and delivered better performance on game. I am currently using 270gr Gold Dots behind 777 or 285 gr Barnes Spit-Fire with same charge. Both offer good accuracy, less than 2" @ 100. However both are more difficult to load than the Power belts.

This was my first year ...

This was my first year using an in line and the first using these bullets.Found them to be accurate enough(2 1/2"@100 yds.)Shot a mature doe at 55 yds quarting toward me.Went right down.No exit hole,it took full impact energy of projectile.Couldn't ask for any better.

I bought these bullets to ...

I bought these bullets to use in my T/C Encore and they just wouldn't group. Nice looking bullets, would probably do well in other guns but not for my 209x50. From my local sporting goods store I hear the bullets come in different diameters and powerbelt makes the smaller size.

This projectile shoots ...

This projectile shoots beautiful groups on paper (consistant 1/2" 3-shot 50yd. groups) with 100gr. Triple 7 charge but has poor terminal ballistics on deer. I've shot six deer with them and had only one acceptable blood trail. Two of the six were unrecovered and a 3rd one required a follow-up shot to do the job. Shot placement was not a factor; poor bullet performance on the deer was. I know other hunters who use the 295gr. version of this bullet with good success; However, I would recommend you steer clear of this 245gr. configuration.
