Product Information

This solid steel base features a unique design with an interesting twist. The Smith & Wesson factory sights are removed, and this base is installed in place of the rear sight. This provides a secure mounting point for all types of Weaver-Style rings. The front and rear factory sights are then reinstalled on the base, making them fully functional. With this base, you can choose to use the factory sights and still have a convenient mounting point for all of your optics. For newer Smith & Wesson revolvers that are factory drilled and tapped for scope mounts. Other revolvers will require drilling and dapping by a qualified gunsmith.
