I don't think you can beat these bullets for the price. I shoot a lot of Hdy's and Noslers along with these 'cheap' Remingtons. Because I am not a match or otherwise discriminating Pistolero, I cannot discern a difference in accuracy. I shoot these bullets in both .44 spec. and .44 mag rounds along with my Hdy, Sierra, and Nosler bullets.If you have used a chronograph you know they are often times more questionable than informative (weather conditions not always favorable).Nonetheless, these inexpensive projectiles seem to be on par, chronographically and accuracywise, with the afforementioned bullet makers.I can make only three objective observations:1. these bullets are ugly! 2. If you have to pull one of them with a kinetic puller the lead core will most likely part company with the jacket.3. Upon seating, you may turn these roundnoses into semi-wadcutters. I don't have an answer for the last observation......I've tried 3 different brands of dies and varied the amount of belling. No luck. If you are not disturbed by a soft-pointed bullet with a very sharp and discernible shoulder, I suggest you try these bullets.

Take care with your ...

Take care with your seating dies! My old RCBS seating die turned these bullets into semi-wadcutters..........lots of exposed lead. On the positive side I cannot detect a difference in accuracy when shot along side 240g. HDY'S. I am shooting , Remington 240g SJHP in both loads. Viht N-110 produces the most accurate load whether shooting HDY 240's or Remington's 240 SJHP, can't complain.The cannelure on the 240 Rem. bullet is very well defined. This is in contrast to the Rem. 180g bullet which appears to have a tattooed cannelure.Unless you are a very fine pistol shot with great discriminating powers these bullets won't let you down.Rejoice in the price and lament the bullet seater.

These are the most dependable and accurate bullet for my marlin 1894 44 magnum they feed flawlessly,, also are extremely accurate from my Smith & Wesson 629 8 3/8" bbl. Love buying factory Remington bullets in bulk.

Good bullet when used in ...

Good bullet when used in a handgun. Accurate and lethal. Two hogs taken with a Ruger SRH 7.5" bbl (1300 fps). I would not recommend this bullet for a 44 rifle, at least not for hunting. Accurate it was at 1700 fps, but this bullet does not penetrate well and flattens out quickly.

These are great bullets ...

These are great bullets for the .44 Magnum. I rediscovered one of these bullets last year from a cow elk. It held together perfectly and penetrated about 24-26 inches on a quartering away shot, lodging under the skin on the off shoulder. It retained 75% of it's original weight. The elk ran about 50 yards and piled up. This past weekend we shot 7 hogs up to about 70 pounds with this bullet and even on the smallest hogs the performance was outstanding and we didn't recover any of the bullets.

Great value! I've shot ...

Great value! I've shot these bullets for years in my Dan Wesson and now in my Rossi Model 92. It's great to be able to practice and hunt with the same bullet and load without it costing you a fortune.

These bullets are high quality. Weight is very consistant. The only problem is there is some damage to the bullet tips due to being bulk packed.

I have been using these ...

I have been using these bullets on my reloads for the last 20+ years. Expansion has always been uniform, & 240 grains is not an uncomfortable recoil generator in either the S&W 29, or the IMI D/E. Great stopping power, accurate for a handgun, and they truly get the job done.

I have shot many deer ...

I have shot many deer with this bullet out of rem. factory laods from Ruger 44 carbine. Of the 5 bullets recovered 3 lost the jacket but the core expanded to an average of .80 inches.
