I've had feeding issues ...

I've had feeding issues when I used these for my former 1911 I used to own (Rock Island). However, I bought a Lee factory crimp die and ran those through which solved the problem. Try using a fatory crimp die or something similar if you have feeding issues. Might be your shell casings that's giving you issues.

In case you haven't noticed from the other reviews, this is the ultimate .45 bullet. I have killed deer with it. I have also played with it. It makes HUGE holes. And it also feeds great through all my 1911 variants.

Best round I have used ...

Best round I have used for reloading as well as factory ammo. I however have gotten better results than others for the phonebook test. I put these through 4 soaked phonebooks that were tied together. 3 rounds each from a 3" Glock 30, a 4" Kimber CDP and a 5" Wilson cqb. They all opened beautifully and I had to use a micrometer to tell the difference in diameter when I was done. Average diameter was .750. The widest were from the 5" of course but the difference was quite small. The weight retention was over 97% and average depth was 11". Great bullets. Thanks Remington!

The profile of this ...

The profile of this bullet makes it feed very well in my Dan Wesson Pointman, Charles Daly Fieldmaster 1911, and my Beretta Cougar 8045... Shoot some of these buggers into a pile of wet phone books and it'll be tough to peel that smile off your face... mine expanded to a wicked .540" and retained 100% of their weight... This is a very well constructed bullet that holds together at all velocities and reliably expands...

Purchased these bullets ...

Purchased these bullets to use with sabot in .50 muzzleloader. Placed a shot in a buck at 30 yards.....250 gr pellets pushing it. Deer went down in less than 50 yards. No exit wound....pulled the bullet from the deer. Complete expansion, jacket and core in two pieces. Just way too much velocity at that range. Good bullet.

The bullets group ...

The bullets group fantastic in my Kimber Gold Match. They are easy to load. The price is on the high end of other bullets but worth the 1 to 2 cents difference. Most strongly recommended.
