Performs very well... best groups I have found for "cheap" ammo. I am basing this on my own tests, comparing over 18 brands/types). Holds .5" group at 50 yards no problem from a bull barrel 10/22. The sound is much less than a standard high velocity... if your neighbors windows are close, they probably won't hear it. This ammo also has great killing power. Dropped everything I hit without a twitch. Recovered bullets are expanded nicely. There is better subsonic ammo, more accurate ammo, but not for the price. If you're looking for accurate, quiet, lethal and cheap ammo, your search is over.

I am giving this ammo a D grade for the following reasons: It's way too loud to be used in areas when shooting noise is a problem. Really doesn't sound any quieter than a standard speed 22 LR. So no point in that. And the charge is strong enough to try to cycle an automatic weapon but NOT strong enough to complete it, so you will wind up with stuck ammo constantly. And who needs that aggravation! You want quiet? Get yourself the Aguila Colibri instead.

Purchased to use in rifle and pistols with a suppressor. Shoots well in either and is very quite. Sound levels are about on par with a pellet gun. Will buy more.

I've ran 1500+ rnds. in a savage bolt .22 b4 i cleaned the rifle just to see what kind of punishment it would take. It took 1500+ rnds! This ammo. is a little dirty ,but not that bad,it's quiet,and I shoot 1/2 inch groups @ 50+ yards.Oh and the big plus,it's great for clocken squirles!!

Hope all these good reviews are right. I just bought 2900 rounds. Surely it will shoot well out of some of my .22's since I have three different model .22 rifles, two .22 auto pistols and two .22 revolvers. It will mainly be used for plinking and small game so it should be accurate enough for my use. Since I had to rate it, I rated it a three until I can actually fire a few rounds.

I fired two 90-shot outdoor pistol matches with this ammo in a Ruger 22 pistol on a 90 degree day. For the first match, the first 80 rounds did OK. The barrel started leading up, and by the time I finished the next 20 rounds, I had nothing but flyers and keyholed shots on paper. The second 90-shot match was a total waste of time as most shots would not even hit the 50 yd. slow fire target. For my money, this was very poor performance. I will read the lowest reviews first from now on. This ammo looked good at first at 50 ft on an indoor range.

This stuff is junk. I had 10% misfires, a great deal more than the Winchester bulk ammo I had previously used to break in some new parts on my 10-22 (I am building one up for bench rest purposes). On each of the bad rounds I found indentations. Some I tried twice with no luck. And all this was done with an aftermarket firing pin and a heavier spring propelling the hammer. Avoid this crud.

Functioned with 100% reliability from a 9" barrel GSG-5 with suppressor. Report little more than a muted snap. Chronograph velocity 10' from the muzzle averaged 962 feet per second, with average kinetic energy = 82 lb.-ft.Pretty much and ideal combination!

I was disappointed in these rounds. They failed to fully cycle my m&p 15-22. every 3 shots or so they would have enough power for the rifle to chamber another round, but the bolt hadn't been brought back far enough to reset the trigger! Some rounds were definitely louder than subsonic, and they might be the dirtiest bullets Ive ever used. 25 rounds of these made the front of my silver bolt completely BLACK. After trying these, Remington cyclones, and Remington golden bullets, I don't think I will ever trust Remington in the category of "rimfire ammunition" ever again.

I was looking for a .22 ...

I was looking for a .22 round that would be accurate, quiet, and have enough power to kill gray squirrels reliably. This is the round. Out of many different brands and types of ammo, I found this one to be more accurate than any others. Five shot groups at 25yds. are just a ragged hole. They are also somewhat quieter than other standard ammo, and have plenty of power for squirrels. My furthest shot on a gray this year was about fifty yards and the head shot was, lets just say, decisive. My search is over. This is the ammo I will count on for my hunting and target needs.

Great ammo, I have a 10/22 built with Volquartsen parts and it loves this stuff. I get a misfire ever so often (maybe a few every 500 rounds) but its not a big problem. The rifle shoots this ammo just about as accurately as match ammo. Considering the price difference, this is what my 10/22 runs on. My girlfriend has a Crickett single shot .22 that also produces very good groups with this ammo.

I've run Rem Subsonic in several rifles (10/22, Marlin 925 and a 64 action Anschutz), as well as a Browning Buckmark. I've run it suppressed and unsuppressed. It cycles all of my semi-autos, and feeds smoothly in all of my .22s. In very cold weather, I've found some lots to have way too many misfires, though generally better than other Remington ammunition of late (even blue box Target). My older pre 2009 boxes tend to shooter better than 2011 ammo. It's usually more accurate for me than other Remington offerings, though I get aggravating flyers at 50yds. I suspect that they have trouble with the priming, so cold weather causes bad velocity variations due to poor ignition. From the same brick, I've noticed that I don't have nearly as much trouble during warm weather.
