I like this bullet!! This ...

I like this bullet!! This is my heavy game bullet..bear , pig, etc. A lot of folks think hollow points are everything..not so..for deep penetration..brush busting power these are great. I use 2400, Starline brass & a magnum primer in my S&W 29 44 mag. It works for me. Art n

Works great on wild hogs ...

Works great on wild hogs fired from my custom 4 inch barrel Redhawk. I like a maximum charge of WW296 that groups into about 3 inches at 25 yards -- good enough for hogs in the thick brush country I hunt them in down on the Canadian River here in Oklahoma. Bullet are found in the opposite shoulder. Unlike many hollow points it will bust through the gristle plate on a big boar and make it to the boiler room. My collection of bullets from hogs show good mushrooming out to an average of about 70 caliber. They bleed out quick. This is one ugly bullet that really does a number on big ugly hogs!

These bullets are a great ...

These bullets are a great value. They shoot straight and load easily. the only negative thing I have to say about them (and this is a minor point) is that the crimping groove is very shallow. I would like more groove depth just to know that the crimps are absolutely secure.

Best bullet I have used ...

Best bullet I have used in the 44 mag rifle. Expands and holds together even at 2000 fps at the muzzle where hollow points break up. Recovered bullets in wet newspaper are still intact and one piece nicely mushroomed to twice original diameter.

The sort of quality I've ...

The sort of quality I've come to expect from Remington components. Not the absolute best, but a good value, especially when you find them on sale. I've loaded these for .44 Special and they perform well. I can't comment on their expansion because I've not tried to recover slugs, but the accuracy is good and the bullets are consistent.
