Just worked up a load ...

Just worked up a load with IMR 3031 and this bullet. Top load gave 2607 and .93" group out of my BLR 358. I'm set. Will give another star if it kills like I think it will.

Very accurate bullet out ...

Very accurate bullet out of a Browning BLR in 358 win, around 1 MOA. Killed a nice sized whitetail buck and doe, both were dead within seconds. The buck was a frontal chest shot, while the bullet did not exit, it really took the wind out of his sails and he only went 10 yds and then crashed. The doe was a perfect broadside, and she went about 20 yds leaving a great blood trail. While not a lot of kills with this bullet I have total confidence in it for deer.

I just bought a custom ...

I just bought a custom .358 Win the other day and wanted to run some "cheap" bullets through it to see how it would shoot. They don't look it but these bullets REALLY shoot! They are very accurate for a short and wide round. They are great out to about 200yds, after that they turn into a mortar round at around 300yds. If I do my part I can get sub 1" groups at 100yds. These things hit hard and accurately. One couldn't ask for more. For sure not a "cheap" bullet.

Have not taken game with ...

Have not taken game with this one yet, but fired at 2730 fps., penetrated 4 milk jugs of water (22") with 1/8 in. plywood between them, and knocked over the backboard. Expanded perfectly to .66 inch, still weighed 172 grains. Elk are not made of water and plywood, but I believe this bullet is up to the task. (And it's one of the most accurate I've tried).

I have used the 150 grain ...

I have used the 150 grain Remington version of this bullet in my .350 Remington magnum with IMR 4064 and surprised my buddy with his .264 how flat of a shooter the round was. I took a mule deer down at 460 yards on the 3rd shot. In the neck where I was aiming so to not waste any meat. If anyone can find the 150 grains let me know.

Shoots very well in my ...

Shoots very well in my Mauser 98k Shilen barreled custom 35 Whelen 55 gr of aa2230 produces 2670 fps and 1 inch group at 100 yards.Good bullet shot a nice 5 x 6 mule deer last year.

Work well loaded in 35 ...

Work well loaded in 35 Rem for the 14/141 & 8/81 rifles, though they need to be loaded at near max velocities to expand reliably; not a big deal as these rifles are stronger than lever guns. I also load these for 35 Rem in a custom Turk Mauser I built; it feeds pointed bullets better than round noses. Coming out of the 20" bbl @ 2200 fps, they're good for what ails you. Customer is very happy.

I use them in the .358 Winchester and they are accurate, and work well on Tenn. whitetail deer, expanding well and giving good penetration.
