Pointed Soft Point Bullets combine the expansion of a traditional soft point bullet, with the longer range performance of a spitzer-shaped bullet. These bullets offer deeper penetration than a hollow point bullet. This is not loaded ammunition.

First group I shot today. ...

First group I shot today. At 0.189 inches, 3 shot group, 100 yards, it is probably the smallest group I've ever fired from the Remington 760. I was very surprised as I was not impressed by the Remington 125 grain spire point bullets.There was at least a 6 to 7 grain spread in the bullets weights. It's notan issue when I test fire because I use the same weight bullets for eachweight powder charge. The problem would arise if I loaded a whole box ofbullets with the same powder charge.

Ordered these to try with ...

Ordered these to try with reduced load 30-06. Variation in shape resulted in approximately 10% of the bullets being seated to depths different than the other 90%. Cannelure location also varied. There seemed to be two different cannelure locations, so I sorted them accordingly. I don't know if the bullets I got were simply rejects, or if this is typical of the quality of these bullets.

I was hunting big Wi ...

I was hunting big Wi whitetail on brothers farm. Loaded these 125s in my Rem 700 -06 saw a nice buck about 140 yrd. away in some very thick brush. Said a prayer and shot. Found the buck belly up horns in the ground. Bullet did outstanding job!!Thank you Lord...thank you MidwayUSA!!

I use this bullet in a 14" T/C barrel chambered in 300 Whisper. They are accurate and open up beautifully with a load starting off at 2100 fps.

I get 2 inch ...

I get 2 inch (center-to-center) groups at 300 yards with a Savage tactical .308 and 8x32 44mm target scope. Several load combinations work well at near max. H4895 and BLC-2 have been my best. Excellent bullet, but when I first saw them, I was completely disappointed by the odd shape.

I use these in a Swiss ...

I use these in a Swiss K31 and have had great luck - sub moa groups and these are light kickers - seat just below the cannelure (depending on the throat). A real bargain.
