Most accurate 22 mag. ...

Most accurate 22 mag. ammo tried in my Henry lever gun. Gun has a Weaver 2.5x - 7x Variable scope and when turned to 7x power and shooting on bull bag rest at 55 yards; this ammo will shoot 1 inch groups all day long. This Henry really likes this ammo. Will out group Winchester, Fiocchi, and Federal. Have not shot any game except a medium size Raccoon; which died on the spot. So far an excellent round.

In working out ammo at ...

In working out ammo at the range today, my best group, excluding one called flier, was 4 shots in 3/8" at 50 yds; from my 14" Contender! Will be shooting much more of this in the future.

These shoot the best in ...

These shoot the best in my gun, and the Rem V-Max is a close second. They averaged .761" at 100 Yds., for 8- 3 shot groups. The biggest group was 1.185", and the smallest was .322".

This is the only 22WMR ...

This is the only 22WMR ammo I use now, 5 at 50yds one ragged hole through my old Marlin 782. It doesn't expand much but with proper shot placement it doesn't need to. Killed a lot of groundhogs with it this year.

I have an Anschutz 1516D ...

I have an Anschutz 1516D rifle, and this groups the best out of 9 different 22 WMR loads I have tested (although they all actually shoot adequately). During the shooting, at 75 yards without adjusting scope settings between ammo types, it's trajectory seems to fall in between the hyper velocity 30-34 grain loads and the other standard 40 grain offerings. And with its controlled expansion bullet design as opposed to the rapid fragmenting designs of the hyper velocity versions, it would seem to be a great general purpose "do it all" load if it shoots well from your rifle.

I have shot several boxes ...

I have shot several boxes of this ammunition through my Marlin 925. At 100 yards it shoots flatter than most other 40 grain rounds. Most groups were around an inch. Some more and some less, plenty accurate enough for anything bigger than a ground squirrel. It's not expensive and really whacks targets out to 100 yards. I would recommend this to anyone with a 22 WMR to at least try.

I shot this ammo thru a ...

I shot this ammo thru a Ruger M77 with good accuracy. A 3 shot group at 25 yards left only one hole. At 50 yards I shot about 1 inch group and about 1-1/2 inch high. At 100 yds the group stayed the same but was only about 1/2 inch high. I plan to hunt hogs with it and would rate it 5 stars except that I haven't seen firsthand how it will do on the hog.

After taking more than 50 ...

After taking more than 50 foxes with this load, I believe this to be an outstanding load for Grey Fox! When hunting Grey Fox, I need a round that cleanly kills without causing excessive fur damage. This load has been my choice in 2007. This load performs like a premium big game bullet for smaller game (8-12lbs). Expansion is minimal, but effective. This round always exits on Grey Fox, but exits holes are small. The only downside to this load is that the fox do occasionally run after being fatally hit. Accuracy in my Remington 597 autoloader is around 1" at 100 for five shots. That is quite adequate and in line with the best this rifle has produced. All and all a great round for small predators.
