With a total of 36 different test loads to work with in working up a load for my "03 Springfield I found 1MOA accuracy with open sites at 150 yards using this bullet. With those kinds of results I can now focus on adjusting the amount of powder behind the pill but, for certain, this little jewel will remain front and center for the next match.

I have been shooting handloads in my 300 Ultra for the last two years. They chronograph at around 3340fps and consistently produce groups under and inch at 200 yds and 1 ragged hole at 100. This is the rig I use when I know there could be a longer shot. I usually prefer my 25-06 which has been my pet for over 20 years but with accuracy like this I find myself using the 300 more these days. Besides, I have taken 3 whitetails with this load at ranges from 40 to 200 yds and all have dropped in their tracks with surprisingly little meat damage considering the impact velocities. The only bullet I have recovered was from a 175lb 6-point taken at 120yds. The bullet was under the hide on the off-side and even though it had flattened out to just over 3/4" it still retained 131 grains or 79%. I have been a Nosler fan for years and still am but this Swift has really impressed me. Some complain about the bullet being a little pricey but the confidence they give me to produce humane 1-shot kills is well worth the few extra pennies per shot.

Extremely accurate, very consistent weight, 308 Hand load with RP Brass, Fed Small rifle primer, TAC powder, 2680 FPS, Kimber 84M, sub MOA to 300 Yards. Shot Dall Sheep at 496 yards, passed through both shoulders, dropped in place.
