I was skeptical of this ...

I was skeptical of this product upon hearing about it, but I have a very nice, very tight fitting leather holster. Also, two matching mag pouches that have been gathering dust because they were just too tight for regular use. After stretching those for weeks (using the plastic bag method) things did improve, but the tension was still far too tight for my liking. After reading a couple good things about Leather Kote I decided to try it since I was placing an order for some other stuff anyway. Application is easy, just open the tub, dab the tip of your index finger with the product, and smear it around on the inside of your holster. A tiny bit on your finger will go a long way, so use this stuff sparingly? This one jar is probably a lifetime supply for just about anyone. After you apply just wait a few a minutes (the directions say fifteen) and check your draw. I was nothing short of amazed at how much slicker my draw was after just one application of Leather Kote. We're talking draws damn near as fast I can do with my kydex holster. The mag pouches were no different after applying. I was surprised to find just the right amount on tension on the holster and both mag pouches. Enough to hold everything safely in place yet smooth and easy enough to draw from. No more yanking to pull my gun or magazine free, everything slides out effortlessly! I hate to use the phrase "greased lightning", but yeah. This is seriously good stuff.

Very excellent product. I ...

Very excellent product. I have used this in many holsters and I highly recommend!! My holster was a little too snug for my handgun and applying this on the suede on the inside of the holster a couple of times made 150% difference. I have treated several of my fellow officers' holsters since treating mine. Just a tip, let the holster dry for about an hour or longer before using.
