Bought one of these a couple of months ago and it is everything it claims to be. Sturdy and solidly made... heavier than I expected. With an accessory piece, it can become a shooting rest. There is almost no plastic on it anywhere. I would recommend this gun vice to anyone.

This is a well made product and it works much better than I ever thought a vise of this type could or would. It holds all styles of rifles easily, including AR-15 type rifles, and has made the cleaning and maintenance of my firearms much easier. If I had known how well this product works, I would have had one a long time ago... Excellent Product :O)

Mine came with no instructions and missing parts. All of these parts straight off the shelf at you're local hardware store, except for two. One is the front cradle and the other is their 'tension cord' which is a girls hair tie.

Top Notch. Well worth the "perceived" extra expense over the more recognized brand names of sleds or vises. All the parts fit perfectly and assembled easily. It was obvious special care was taken to protect the components in that every piece was carefully wrapped/bagged in the box. Fit and finish were impeccable even for what I would call a utility item. Overall, I had no issues on parts. As for assembly--pretty easy by following an exploded engineering diagram and some detailed written instructions on the complicated bits. I had no problem. In fact, I took my time and it took about 20 minutes. Then I tested a few of my weapons in the cradle/vise for functional review--very solid, no chance of marring finishes. This is just plain nice. So, if you are looking for a good gun vise to work with, this one has exceeded my "value for money" evaluation.

Very happy with this ...

Very happy with this product. Well made and versatile. Durable metal construction that should last my lifetime. Only concern is durability of elastic band that tensions vice jaws on track slide rail, but if that becomes an issue it would be easily replaced. Only issue on assembly was one of the leveling leg bolts had rough threads that nearly cross threaded the lock disk but I realized what was happening and was able to file the bolt threads and correct before irreversible damage was done to the lock disk threads. Will hold any gun securely including AR uppers separated or with lower/upper hinged. After reading the reviews for lower price point vises I decided to go with the P3 and am glad I did.
