When it comes to shooting my 6.8 SPC II chambered AR's, whether it's SSA or Hornady, the Barrett 6.8SPC mag has fed flawlessly, even while shooting full-auto. I love that these mags hold a full 30+1rnds, the extra 5rnds is very much appreciated. The fit and finish is great and exactly what you expect from a top tier magazine. I've experienced no problems with the 10 Barrett 6.8SPC mags I have, and they have seen plenty of use.

I have cycled this mag flawlessly through my Bushmaster 6.8 AR-15 since mid 2008. I have had no malfunctions. It is very sturdy in construction and the 30 round capacity is great.

Rating categories: product, form, fit, function, & other when coupled with a CMMG 6.8 SPC WASP upper mounted on new DPMS lower.Product: 6.8 SPC magazine as advertised - 1 starForm: Shaped to hold 6.8 SPC cartridge; extra length is a plus as is finish - 1 starFit: Mag catch hole too far down to even catch; had to machine it on top which leaves hole oversized - no starFunction: Haven't fired it yet but expect failure to chamber due to inner dimensions undersized causing 110 gr. Hornady V-Max bullet seated to proper depth to drag. Forget about using longer bullets - no star.Other: Front mag edge too high; causes scaping of brass when chambering when brass is chamfered externally; hangs when not. Had to machine this out to match the PRI mags I have that work perfectly - no star.Overall: If you want the best quality buy PRI; two rounds less than Barrett but they have sufficient internal space because they don't overlap the body halves. If you want a mag that just works buy CMAG (but get ready to repaint them). Do not buy Barrett if you want either; it's name only.
