The DeSantis Nemesis Pocket Holster is an excellent concealed carry holster for those that prefer pocket carry. The holster features a rubberized exterior designed to grab the pants pocket and keep the holster in place on the draw. The slick pack cloth lining allows for a smooth draw and the interior is padded with a foam core to protect your firearm from bumps and keep the gun from printing.

I have a Smith & Wesson Model 637 38 Special five shot revolver which is the same shape as a S&W 642 but the rear part of hammer on the 637 is slightly exposed to allow single action firing. Driving with holster and revolver in the front pocket of jeans or dress slacks is not discomforting and the feeling is comparable to having your wallet in your front pocket when driving. Fast extraction of the weapon with my seat belt fastened from the front pocket of my jeans is difficult because the seat belt goes across the top of the jean pocket. Fast extraction of the gun from my dress slack front pocket when seated in a car with seat belt fastened is as easy as extracting the revolver while seated in a chair at home. To the trained eye there is a slight rectangular bulge on one side of my jeans or slack front pocket but the outline of the gun is not distinguishable. The inside of the holster is smooth and appears well made except for the top part on one side of the holster where De Santis decided to put there label which has small tag. It does not interfere with extraction of weapon but to me it was a poor choice on there part because the label is not perfectly smooth. I rate this holster 5 of 5 because it does what I bought it for, it improves extraction and it does conceal the weapon. Thankyou Midway for allowing us forum.

Doesn't hold up over ...

Doesn't hold up over time.Unfortunately the holster is fantastic when you first get it but after carrying mine for probably 6 months or so its already worn out to the point that I hate to trust it with my life. Half the time it will come out with the gun even after the first month it was getting bad and I trained myself to pull against my leg to get it to work.However this no longer helps and it's just a crap shoot whether I will pull my 642 out with holster attached or not.I plan to buy something else.May work better if you're wearing tight pants but I mainly wear cargo pants and the pockets are not that tight.

This is good for concealed carry. It breaks up the outline of the revolver so it looks like a wallet. Worth the money.

Fits my 638-3 like a glove and draws fast! I really like the grippy exterior and the smooth and soft liner. It stays put in my pocket. It looks like high quality that should wear well. I liked it so well; I ordered another DeSantis Nemisis for my Kel Tec P32 and can't wait.

Great for the price. Lightweight and breaks up the form really nice. It's not the fastest draw, and since it's not like a Galco, the top is closed and it's harder to reholster, but all minor issues.

Fits like a glove in the pocket. I wear Jeans with it. Gun pulls out nicely. You are sitting on a gun when driving around town and when eating and sitting on a hard chair and you notice it but its not to bad for me. When in the car its hard to get to having the seat belt on. But it is NICE AND Concealable when walking around a T-Shirt is all ya need. Shirt needs to be a little long though. Some jackets will not work with. Problem is it wear out in about a year of moderate use and when ya draw it the holster comes out too - using a Taurus 5 shot it makes it hard/impossible to shoot (cylinger won't turn) So you have to buy one about every year looses its "stickyness".

Have carried my Ruger LCR in this holster for over a year. Still stays put when drawing. I carry in cargo pants in the front (vs the larger cargo) pocket. An excellent product for a reasonable price.

Bought this for my Smith 642 a few weeks back. Comfortable with everything i have worn. Definitely will stay in pocket when drawing your weapon. It takes some serious effort to get the holster out of your pocket, and thats what is truly important with a pocket holster. Cannot go wrong with this holster at all, a superb, economical product.

Picked up the DeSantis Nemesis Pocket Holster to use with my Smith and Wesson 340PD and it has held up very well with over a year of almost daily use. My primary reason for purchasing the holster was to help keep the revolver properly positioned in my pocket which it does very well. The holster also does a good job at breaking up the outline of the revolver making it almost indiscernible. Holster stays where I put it and does not come out with the revolver if removed. I would definitely purchase again and/or recommend to a friend.

Here in GA it is illegal to carry a bare pistol in a pocket even if you have a CCP...it must be in a holster. After researching the market, I chose the DeSantis...and it's met all expectations! The holster shape maintains the S&W 622 with CT Lazergrips in proper position, conceals the pistol shape, and grips the pocket so it doesn't come out on the pistol when drawn. It's ideal for the purpose, and the price is a real bargain when compared to some of its less satisfactory competition.

I love this holster. I've been carrying my S&W 642 in it daily for over a year and it's still as good as when I first got it. It's a little more molded to the gun now but it still conceals perfectly all the time. Never have a problem drawing the gun with the holster. It stays in the pocket like its suppose to. For $ you can't go wrong with this holster.
