This ambidextrous magazine release significantly reduces the time it takes to change an AK-47's magazine by enlarging the release lever on both sides of the rifle. This makes the lever far easier to reach with the thumb than the typically short factory part. The extended release comes pre-drilled. Installation requires the factory release to be drilled and the new part riveted into place.
