Do not let the price of ...

Do not let the price of this rod scare you! I have already bent or broken about 5 of those cheaper cleaning rods. I will not use a brass or bronze rod because brass will also bend. I needed a sturdy spring steel rod. This rod is made of spring steel, and will not bend. The steel has a very tough passivated coating and is impervious to all solvents. The brass tip is also anodized and will not corrode using the most aggressive copper cleaner. The passivated coating and anodized brass tip means this very tough rod will be most gentle to your rifle. The thrust bearing handle is made of aluminum, not cheap plastic. The thrust bearing will turn like a fine tuned machine and your brushes will not unscrew. If I could give this rod a 10 star rating I would!

What can you say, a cleaning rod either works or it doesn't. This particular product does work and appears to be very well made. Price of the item was good but shipping costs were high.
