This adapter snugs the ...

This adapter snugs the Glock compact model mags inside the mag wells on Glock subcompacts. If properly installed and locked into position it looks great. More importantly, it prevents misfires from mags without the adapter that will occur if they shift in the magwell which they will do. It improves grip significantly and adds a nice balance to the Glock subcompacts.

This is a decently made item that works as intended. However, it will NOT adapt a full size magazine to a compact pistol (i.e., G22 mag to G23), but rather adapts a full size magazine to a subcompact pistol (i.e., G22 mag to a G27 pistol). Be aware that it is improperly marked by the maker--Pro-Mag, and thus improperly cataloged by Midway.

Fit and finish can be better, but the Grip Spacer functions as intended. However, it will not function in older non drop-free Glock mags (the mag catch does not engage).

Beware that this product is not made for the gen4 glocks. The handle is a little bit different shape than the gen3 glock 26/27 is. The backstraps let you change the handle size to a different thickness than the product so there is a bump in the grip unless you install the thin backstrap. Also the shape of the bottom corner of the handle is a little different so there is a visible gap there that looks funny, but the mag can still be seated. I have not tried it with a gen3, but it seems like a good product other than fitment. There is a nice set screw in the back to take out any slop and keep it from moving around at all on the mag when it is out of the gun. Also be sure to use the right spacer for the right mag. The g17 mag is longer than the g19 so there will be a gap or not enough space if you get the wrong one.

The product is made very well but... with the spacer in place the mag will not drop clear of the gun on its own. The back of the spacer is too big and it rest agents the pad in the palm of the hand prevents dropping of the mag.Just my .02cI returned mine

Fits great, makes a huge difference in grip and feel and the texture even matches a gen 3 Glock frame. It is one of those things I wish I had done the day I got my 27 not 10 years later. If you carry a 26/27 and don't do this you are missing out.

I have large hands and thought this was going to be a required product for me to enjoy the Glock 29. I have a couple of these, but rarely use them now. Since my primary use is with factory 10 round magazines, the preferred way to hold is with the pinky finger curled/wrapped up underneath. A factory Glock 19 magazine in the well still allows for this, partially, but the grip extender does not, obviously. Second, it puts pressure on the magazine in the well, and while I have not had a fail to feed yet as a result, I am not sure I would trust my life to it. Fun at the range? Maybe.

The quality is good for the price; unfortunately I received the wrong size grip spacer. I believe this was due to the manufacturer (ProMag) mis-labeling the item (not MidwayUSA's fault). I received a grip spacer for using a Glock 19 magazine with a Glock 26 compact pistol; rather than a Glock 19 semi-compact as advertised. MidwayUSA immediately gave me credit when I brought this to their attention. Excellent service from MidwayUSA!

This item fit my Glock 19 magazine perfectly, and allowed me to use it in my Glock 26. This is a far better solution than any of the magazine extenders that are available for the sub-compact Glock magazines. It provides support for both your little finger and your palm, making it far easier to hold on to than the extensions which support the finger alone. It is not perfect, hence the 4 stars, but it is a good solution for the problem.
