Product Information

Wolf Military Classic ammunition features a Mil-Spec design delivering reliable functioning along with a polymer coating to ensure smooth feeding and extraction. The Bi-Metal bullet is created by pressing together alternating sheets of copper and steel to be used as the jacket. This technique results in high quality, yet inexpensive ammunition perfect for the high volume shooter. This ammunition is new production, boxer primed, in non-reloadable steel cases. Made in Russia.

I use this in a ...

I use this in a Bushmaster XM-15 A-2 with very good results. It's not match-grade ammo, but for general purpose plinking and casual target practice, I have been very satisfied. More accurate than I thought it would be and not as dirty as I was led to expect. 400 rounds shot so far and not one failure in my AR. For the price, it's worth 5 stars.

I have to agree. Tried this in my S&W M&P 15, would only fire once, then had to rack the charging handle each time. Had just installed a match trigger, but the Black Hills and PMC ammo worked fine. Wolf works great in the AK though.. Not as picky.

Overall, good ammo for ...

Overall, good ammo for the price. It's not Lake City and it's not Match ammo, it's blasting, plinking, training ammo. If your weapon is finicky, which is a bad thing, this ammo might not be for you, nor your weapon. If it won't cycle Wolf... how can you trust it in a situation where you might not get to choose what ammo is available ??? Wolf ammo is a good baseline to work from.. and it's inexpensive to shoot !!

Shot two boxes without ...

Shot two boxes without incident in my Sig Sauer 556. A round jammed from the third box and locked up my bolt; I had to pay the range gunsmith $25 to clear the jam. The bullet was shoved all the way into the steel case. Stick with brass; this Russian-made, steel-cased and lacquered coated ammo may work well in AK-47's, but does not seem to do well in tighter tolerance firearms.

Can't beat wolf for the ...

Can't beat wolf for the price, I have shot about 600 or so of this through my M&P 15 with only one fault. I had the ejector rip the back of a case off, had to push empty out with cleaning rod. No big deal but you get what you pay for here.

Great price, and it ...

Great price, and it cycles just fine through my Bushmaster, 3000 rounds and counting. It's not the grates when it comes to accuracy but for blasting water jugs at 100 yards gets the job done.

GREAT Quality and value ...

GREAT Quality and value for the price. I pulled the bullet and it weighed 54.5 gr on my old balance. Powder was of a very fine grain and silver in color. Shot great (accurate & clean) in my Olympic Arms M4 carbine. The new polymer coating is steel gray in color and leaves no residue. Will buy many more cases for sure. Five stars for me!!!

Its great ammo works ...

Its great ammo works perfect in my AK (5.56NATO) its really the only ammo I shoot. Never had one problem with it. No jams always fires. For cheap rounds just to practice and have fun it almost cant be beat.

Works great in my mini-14. It has a thicker jacket (from what I've read) than US M193 but works great for training ammo especially if you're doing a lot rapid fire and don't want to find all your casings if you reload.
