I just finished the following ammo test using 4 brands of match ammo. The rifle was a Ruger 10/22 SS HV Barrel w/4-16X scope. Five 10 shot groups were fired over 5 days with each brand shot in a random order each day. All groups were shot at 50 yards in very different weather conditions. Measurements were taken for the extreme horizontal and vertical center to center spread and multiplied to get a group size in square inches. These were added together, averaged and then the square root taken to give an average group size in inches square. The results were as follows:Less expensive brand = 1.67 inch sq.Wolf Match Target = .50 inch sq.More expens8ive = 1.21 inch sq.Most expensive = .83 inch sq.You may not get these kind of results but you might want to give this ammo a try.

Bought a brick of this stuff, accuracy was ok out of my Browning Buckmark. The smoke from this ammo looked like I was shooting black power. The smoke at times was so thick it blocked my view of my target at a bulls eye match, and the amount of oil that I got on my hands and pistol is just not worth it.

This stuff shoots very well out of my Savage Mark II BTVS. Very accurate and pretty consistent. On a calm day it is not uncommon to shoot 1" or better groups at 100yds. Usually average 2 "flyers" per box of 50. If you have the time and patience you can weed them out by weighing the rounds and measuring rim thickness.

Shot 5 shot groups from a variety of different manufacturers. I got the best accuracy from the
Wolfe Match Target Ammunition 22 Long Rifle 40 grain round nose, in my Savage MK2 BTV rifle.
Hits the small round 1/2 inch loli-pops consistently at 60 yards. Great accuracy, will not hesitate to buy again.

I shoot in bulls eye competitions weekly with an FWB AW93 pistol. The Wolf ammo has two things going for it. One its affordable when shooting thousands of rounds. Two is its dependablity to not produce misfires (alibis) during the timed fire events. The ammo is made in Germany and it fires well in my German produced pistol.

What works best and what is a great value can be different but this was both for me. I just won't buy the absolute top of the line ammo for my use but I do enjoy a great product I can afford to use. I tried every brand I could get my hands on for about 2 months and never found any better product for use in my Anschutz.

I tried several brands both cheap and expensive, all types of speeds. My two Savage Mark II's,CZ 452, Ruger 10/22, 3 Ruger pistols, S&W 22 revolver and Colt Gold Cup 22 all prefer Wolf brand Mathc or Extra Match 22. With the rifles shooting at 50 yards I get nickel size groupings. The pistol get the best groupings of the 14 types of 22 ammo that I have tried. But, to be honest, I can't tell the difference between Extra Match and Match. Both are the best ammo for my guns.
