Test was conducted with a New England Firearms SS1 Sporter Single Shot Rifle with a Tasco 3.5x20mm World Class scope. Rifle has a 20" barrel.10 shot average velocity of 1097.1 ft/sec (muzzle) with a Std Deviation of 24.9998.Tested against 5 other loads. Had the second best Std Deviation, but by far the best 5 shot Group size. At 50 yds, held a 1.11 inch group size. However, verticle grouping was within 1/8 inch! Horizontal at 1.11, but I think this was due to a variable breeze that day.No reliability problems.Ammo really shoots in this rifle.

Groups were pretty tight, but not nearly as good as Federal Ultra Match, which is the best I've tried so far. HOWEVER, this is the first ammo that wouldn't extract from my Marlin 795 semi-auto rifle. I've tried quite a few different brands and types, and even the cheapo Winchester, Federal, and Remington bulk pack ammo didn't get stuck the way this Wolf ammo did. Given the inconvenience and "concentration breaking" of having spent rounds get stuck in the chamber, I'd have to give it only 2 stars. Nice try but no cigar this time.

I ordered 50 round boxes of Eley, Golden Eagle, CCI green tag, SK and numerous other brands of match ammo for my Savage Mark II rifle. I shot each brand at 50 yards at load development targets. Cleaned the barrel after each brand. The Wolf ammo grouped the best of all. I did the same out of my wife's matching Savage and daughters youth Ruger 10-22. Had the same results. Clover leafs at 50 yards out of all three rifles. We shoot siloutte matches and need ammo that will perform. It's great I don't have to buy three different brands of ammo to shoot in our rifles. It cycles the Ruger perfectly every time. All rifles are factory stock. I now buy it by the brick to keep up with our 3 rifle appetite.

Both my wife and I have shot a few thousand rounds of Wolf ammo through a Savage target rifle and my CZ. Winter or Summer (Yes, it sometimes makes a difference) the Wolf Match Extra gives very tight groups.

Took some of this to the range with some wolf match target and the extra seems to hold a little tighter group out of my 10/22. Not real sure for me anyways that they are worth the extra price because I don't shoot for competition. If I did then maybe.

I tried several brands both cheap and expensive, all types of speeds. My two Savage Mark II's,CZ 452, Ruger 10/22, 3 Ruger pistols, S&W 22 revolver and Colt Gold Cup 22 all prefer Wolf brand Extra Match 22. With the rifles shooting at 50 yards I get nickel size groupings. The pistol get the best groupings of the 14 types of 22 ammo that I have tried. But, to be honest, I can't tell the difference between Extra Match and Match. Both are the best ammo for my guns.

I started shooting .22 cal. bench rest and tried all types of Ammo in my Remington 513T rifle with a Simmons Target Master 8 to 24 x scope . The Wolf Match Extra was second best to Eley Match Black.
I shot a 250 out of 250 with 13x's at a 50yd match target. The 10 ring is about 3/8" in diameter. The group was about 1/2".
GREAT shooting ammo. The anly ammo that shot better is Eley Match Black that costs twice as much and does not come near shooting twice as good.

This is a review of this Ammo shooting in my Mossberg 802 plinkster I had sub 1" groups @ 25 yds and 50 yds. with this round I will be buying this again it seem that my Remington 597 also like this round and shooting with tech sights.
