I use my TMag to reload all of my rifle rounds. It is great. I have purchased extra turrets and have one set up for each of my calibers. I don't use a progressive press to reload rifle rounds, because I want MORE control of my rifle rounds. Think about where the round is detonating. In a handgun, the weapon is at arms length when it goes off. In a rifle the round is within 6-8 inches of your face. I want to be sure my charges are exactly what I wanted. I weigh each and every charge and trickle it to specification.I love the simplicity of this press. Turret changes are quick and easy. I recommend the Tmag to anyone that wants accuracy in reloading.I don't know about customer service, in the 3+ years I have been using this press, I have never had a problem, so I haven't called them. Good job Lyman.

This press is a handy size and convenient to operate. Too bad the linkage on mine was very loose with a good deal of side to side movement. I called Lyman and they provided new links and a new link pin, but this did not help. When I contacted Lyman I was unable to talk with anyone who was familiar with this press or could help diagnose the problem. The Lyman press was returned to the seller and replaced with a Redding turret press.

I have been using the T-Mag Press for over 20 years. I have 9 turrets loaded with 11 sets of dies. My first press lasted for 19 years. It finally broke at the steel stud holding the turret. My only complaint is that it tends to throw primers out of the tray when decapping.

Have used this press for probably close to 10 years. As several others have mentioned, there is a fair amount of play in the lower part of this press. I only use this press for handgun loading and have heads for every caliber I load. Pay close attention to the warranty. Lyman only offer a one year, but Redding and RCBS offer a lifetime. That's huge if you plan on using these for a lifetime. I've had problems with my Lyman for years with the lower shoe. There's a pin that holds all together and that pin works free and you have to keep putting it back together. No warranty means you're stuck with the problem. Spend a few extra $ and buy the better press for a lifetime of trouble free service.

I own 6 presses. This is by far my favorite. I am able to take a prepped and primed case and complete the reloading process in under 25 seconds per round. This press has significantly increased my reloading productivity. This press along with the attachable Lyman #55 Powder Measure is quite possibly the best investment I have made on my bench.

I have owned/used many different brands and models of reloading presses. When price, quality, volume produced, ease of use, durability, fit and finish are all considered, this one is among the very best. The only drawback being a priming system, that requires painstaking alignment and even some filing to get it to function correctly. I highly recommend this press to someone who primes off the press or is capable of working on the priming system, and does not require the volume of a progressive press.

I owned the older orange T-Mag version for 25 years; my only gripe was the primer catcher failure rate was about 20%. Also, it lacked a reversible press handle for lefty's. My new T-Mag press is solidly built and has no linkage issues. I deducted one star in rating because of the "new" primer catcher. The failure rate is about 5% and it only holds about 100 primers; the way its designed its easy to spill caught primers. I wish Lyman would consider, like some competitors, the primer drop tube method, to a container of your choice. If Hornady or Redding add the reversible handle option, Ill probably buy one. Overall, the T-Mag is still a good press.

I started with the T-mag 1 (orange) that broke first use. Midway immediately replaced it with the then new T-mag 2. I have loaded thousands of rounds, mostly handgun, over the years and it still is in like new condition. This devise is easily used one-handed (left arm amputee) unlike many, and simple enough to that my young shooters learn reloading early (with supervision). I do not think it will ever wear out.

This is a great press. I have had mine for 6 years and it still works great after tons of use. I am currently up to 5 turrets and it saves a lot of time not having to pull dies in and out. Six dies per turret is the only way to go, two pistol sets or three rifle or two rifle with neck sizers never have an empty hole.

This piece of machinery is professional grade and every bit as good as Redding, RCBS and a lot more robust than the Lee.I do a lot of reforming and this press handles previously difficult to form cases (used to have an single stage press) like "peanuts".I still use my Lee turret press for volume pistol case reloading. But for the real big cases and all my case reforming, the Lyman is the proper tool.I doubt if anyone can find a better deal than the Lyman. The lowest price and yet quality on par with the most expensive products in its class!!

I've been using the T-Mag 2 turret press for over 4 years now, having reloaded between 10,000 and 20,000 rounds, mostly handgun. I give it a 5 star rating. It's a very solid and versatile performer with excellent bench clearance, built to last a couple lifetimes at least. My only complaint is the side to side linkage slop, so therefore I use the T-Mag for handgun reloads only, reserving rifle reloading to my RCBS Rockchucker which has super tight tolerances. The T-Mag is a lot faster than a single stage for those of us who have had not the best experiences with progressive "wonder" presses and their inherent inaccuracies and slop factor. Lyman's customer service was excellent too.
