Product Information

The End Plate Sling Adapter is designed specifically for use with a single point sling. Simply replace your original locking plate with the End Plate Sling Mount Adapter and you have a perfect attachment point. This high strength end plate is constructed of heat treated alloy steel and finished with a Mil-Spec black manganese phosphate finish. The unique "no bind" ambidextrous attachment opening allows for 180° range of motion for a smooth transition from one shoulder to the other. You won't have to worry about interference; the slim design also ensures that it will not interfere with your hand or other gear while shooting.

This product is well made it just didn't fit my hands. With any grip that has an extension above the rear section of the grip there is no room for a sling clip, my large hands hit it every time. If I had a standard or hogue grip it may not be a problem but with a Magpul or Ergo grip there is no way to use this without chewing up my hand.

This was precisely the end plate sling adapater I wanted, with the turned up ambidextrous attachment point. It's easy to clip on with this, regardless of how I hold my carbine. It fit my S&W M&P15-ORC perfectly, and was priced just right.

I like Tapco's stuff. This is no exception. It works! There is not much to it, simple design, easy install and it works great for all of the things that I want to do with my AR. I also found that coupled with Midway USA's single point sling, transitions were smooth and switching arms and prone was a breeze!

Great product. Only issue I have is after switching to a Magpul ACS-L it won't let me fully collapse the stock and engage the lock. Other than that worked perfectly with my other stocks.

Works as advertised. Easy install (with proper tools - Spanner Wrench). Installed on an LMT AR. Easy install in about 10 minutes. Heavy guage steel / pretty well made - should stand up to some abuse. Does not 'stick out' either side and works well with HK type clip on most slings - would purchase again. Thanks M.USA!

The good: Very solid and well constructed. The bad: The loop comes down too far and will rub on your thumb knuckle if you have large hands. The loop sticks out too far to the rear and will not allow a Magpul ACS stock to be completed retracted.

Works as advertised. Not 'cheaply' milled, just 'simply' milled. If you plan to use in the real world, practice your hands-free all the way thru to shoulder ready position. The curve back (attachment point) can be a bite point if you choke too high on the pistol grip while transitioning thru said positions, but only if you have that habit in the first place. Other than that, no frills, does what it's intended to do, and installs quick/fast/in-a-hurry. I don't think I'd go with a different model in the name of 'up-grade'. Sometimes the simplest machine is the one that works the best and lasts the longest!
