With internal parts EDM cut from A2 tool steel, then heat treated and polished for consistency, these triggers are manufactured with great care and attention to detail in order to provide the end user with a smooth, positive break. Triggers are fully adjustable for both sear engagement and weight. Triggers for use in pre-2006 guns use the factory safety, while those for post-2006 guns (using Remington's X-Mark Pro trigger) include a new right-hand safety and bolt release.

Smooth, creep free, and wide contact area on the finger (unlike the Timney). Installed in 10 minutes with no special tools. Factory safety is a bit easier to move back and forward now. Breaks cleanly at 1.5lbs on my Sendero SSF 300RUM. This is a must have.

Long, gritty, creepy take ...

Long, gritty, creepy take up that changed every few shots, and would sometimes "stick" in mid-take up, almost doubling the pull weight. It wouldn't consistently hold sear engagement until adjusted VERY heavy and couldn't be adjusted to fix other problems due to sloppy tolerances within. On a 700 I use for across-the-course highpower, I was better off with the tuned, stock Rem trigger at 3+ lbs and switched it back. The Basix is for sale but I won't sell it to a friend!

after installation pull weight was 1#12oz with a MILE of creep. sent it back because it wouldn't hold the sear when jarred. maybe it's just me, but it makes NO sense to sell an adjustable trigger assembly without instructions on adjustment. save your time and buy a timney.

What a nice trigger, I ...

What a nice trigger, I have installed several triggers and I have to say this is as good a trigger and easy an install as any I have done including the jewel.I wanted to adjust the pull from the factory setting; the instructions say call first, so I did. I know how to do this but I called anyway just to see what kind of service I might get and or make sure this one was not different in any way from the others I have done and I didn't want to void the warranty in any way so, sure enough the man I spoke to was very professional, courteous and knowledgeable and easy to get in touch with.(website gives a number you can call Anytime)Great customer service, and it took me about 15 mins to install (very easy) Rem. safety fit like a glove, as did the drift pins, I didn't have to polish or remove any material for safety engagement or bolt travel, trigger body fits receiver better than the factory one, trigger is 5/16 wide with deeper contact grooves than the factory one, this trigger performs as good or better than any other I have used including those higher priced, no travel (crisp) easy adjustable pull weight (I set mine @ 2 lb 6oz) Your just not going to beat this trigger for a hunting rifle guys(and gals), and you cant beat the service, and its guaranteed for life. Passed the drop test easy with safety disengaged. This is a nice trigger.

I found this trigger to ...

I found this trigger to be excellent. Took about 20min to install. Like others have mentioned, it would be a good idea to take digital photos of the Bolt Release and Safety on your factory trigger in case you forget how they install when you move these components to the Rifle Basix trigger. I took photos, but did not need them. Also, one reviewer mentioned having to resize the factory pins, but my Rifle Basix trigger came with new pins, so that step was not necessary. Overall a very simple installation and a night & day difference in trigger pull (I left mine at the factory set 2.3lbs). The only thing I could fault them on is the instruction sheet that comes with the kit could be written a little clearer.

It took me 1 hour to install trigger. Before you start take a couple of pictures of the assembled trigger to use as a reference. I adjusted the trigger to a crisp 2 lb. pull. Install not simple but doable.

As a rule I have been ...

As a rule I have been able to tune the 700 trigger just fine. I purchased this to replace a bad one. Mfgr states 1.5 to 3 lb. After installing I checked with my trigger scale, 4.6 lb. I was able to adjust to my usual 2.5 lb without any problem, but it should not have been over 3 lb the way I see it. This was not a deal breaker and I am happy with the results AFTER adjustment.

I replaced the trigger on ...

I replaced the trigger on a remington 700 with this one and adjusted to a light pull. The job was easy and quick, no grinding of fitting was necessary. It has a crisp break and no creep. I am very satisfied with this trigger and would recommend it to anyone wanting to replace their trigger.
