I was having a problem ...

I was having a problem with my gun not holding the bolt open on the last shot. It is not a real big deal, just aggravating. So I bought one of these one piece gas rings and it cycles correctly every time. I'm not saying it's the best thing ever made but it has worked for me. I have only shot about 100 rounds on it so let's see how well it holds up.

I have this on two rifles ...

I have this on two rifles it goes on fairly easily and seals much better than the old 3 ring setup. I fitted one rifle with the 1 piece ring and one with 3 piece and over a weekend of use the 1 piece stayed cleaner.

Shot with it once and ...

Shot with it once and this gas ring loosened up so much that my bolt would fall out of the carrier. Got two stars cause I didn't waste much money on it. Back to the old three rings that really work fine just a bit of a pain.

Goes on easy and may work too well as I feel the gun kicks more. Now I need a Wolff increased power recoil spring and softer buffer pad. But if it means less crap floating around in my receiver then it's a good deal.
