This set of 10 screwdrivers is designed specifically for gunsmiths and firearms enthusiasts. Each screwdriver has a rubber-coated handle for a comfortable and sure grip. The tips are magnetized and are the exact size to fit all Colt, Smith & Wesson and Ruger firearms. Also included are torx bits for mounting all scope rings and bases. Features a handy driver caddy that sits on the bench, or it can be mounted to wall.

I am very happy with the quality and performance of the set. They are very well made, have comfortable handles and have nicely fit every gun screw that I have tried.(I have mostly handguns)I also like the holder that they come with. Although you can mount it on the wall, I have it setting on my cleaning bench. It's a very good set and well worth the money.

Ergonomically and ...

Ergonomically and aesthetically the screwdrivers are very nice. After having them for a couple of months I managed to break the tip on the #6 screwdriver. The tip metal seems very porous and brittle. I sent the broken screwdriver back to Pachmayr along with a letter including my address, telephone number, and email. I have yet to hear from them and at this time do not expect to. Needless to say Im very disappointed in their product and especially in their customer service.

These screwdrivers are brittle. If you actually plan on using them, only use them on screws you have used a good screwdriver to loosen. They look good though.

I bought this set about a ...

I bought this set about a year ago and didn't use it much until today when I was removing the grip frame from a Ruger Blackhawk and broke 2 tips. I guess the others that had that happen weren't flukes. Way too brittle. They do fit the screws very well though.

The set looks nice on the bench. However, the #3 screwdriver broke the first time I used it. I was removing a plug screw on the barrel of a new Model 700 CDL. I ended up using an eye glasses screw drive and had no troubles.

Absolute Junk! Have ...

Absolute Junk! Have already broken the tips off of two of the slot-tip screwdrivers. I have been in the gun business for 5 years and am very particular about my tools. Don't waste your money. No excessive force was applied to break the tips. My feeling is that the screw should strip out before the head of the screwdriver breaks off, not the case at all.

Broke the tip off one ...

Broke the tip off one trying to tighten a set of Ruger rings (which are notoriously soft headed screws). Thought maybe we just got a bad set, so we had the whole set replaced. First time we used one after being replaced, we broke another tip off trying to unscrew a factory installed screw that a normal screw driver was able to remove easily. I would not recommend this set of screw drivers.

I was happy with them until I had to apply a significant amount of torque to tighten a set of scope rings. One tip broke and two others were damaged. The tips are very brittle.

This set has all of the right size drivers, I only wish they were made of better quality metal. The tips break very easily. All in all if you don't run across an overly tight screw the set is great.
