Accurate and Economical

Other reviewers confirm the ACCURACY of 147 Fed AE. It's the standard for our Kahr 9s and Glock for range practice. Consistently better accuracy and less felt recoil than 115 or 124 gr offerings. If it doesn't shoot well with this - give up. Great paired with 147 grain defense carry rounds for familiarization and practice.

OK, but information incorrect...

I was looking for less-expensive practice ammo that would closely match the more-expensive match ammo I shoot (147 grain, 900 fps) in my Glock 34.

Midway listed this at 960 fps which is in the ballpark, but in reality, the box says 1000 fps. Obviously, this isn't a monster difference, but there are other ammo types that would have been a better fit.

That said, it shoots nicely so far, but those looking for a low-velocity 147 grain load will want to be aware of the discrepancy.

Great 50 yd accuracy

I purchased this product while trying to find accurate ammunition for NRA 50 yd. outdoor slow fire competition in my Springfield XDM 5.25 9mm. This has been the best store bought ammo I have tried and will hold the black if I do my part. The 115 & 124 gr. bullets just weren't consistent at 50 yds. Plus the flat point round does make very discernible round hole in the target which makes the shots easier to spot and score.

This is my favorite 9mm competition ammo. I use it in practice as well as in IDPA and steel challenge matches. It shoots into an inch and a half group off hand at 15 yards from my gen 4 Glock 17, although it hits slightly high. It also seems to have significantly less muzzle flip than lighter weight rounds allowing for faster recovery between shots. Never had a jam or a failure to fire with this ammo.

This ammunition is quiet and accurate, has less recoil because of its low velocity and makes a nice little well defined hole in a paper target. It is great for an indoor range.I have never had a malfunction of any kind.

This ammo is nice to practice with for a defense round grain. However the recoil from it while not unbearable by any means is more then what I would like from my Springfield Armory XDm9 (9mm). The 124gr is much much smoother then this 147gr. This 147gr runs a little hot IMO.
