Worked up a load in my AR ...

Worked up a load in my AR 5.56 with Varge. I've shot 2k of these now and love them. I've been shooting these from 100-300yds; hits every time on every target. I don't have a chrono or really care to hit paper all day with them, but they are cheap and super accurate to shoot

These bullets are very accurate. My wife and I shoot them in 100-600 yard matchs. We use them in .223, 22-250, and 22BR. These bullets will shoot 1/4-1/2 MOA at 200 yards.

I have tried every 80 and ...

I have tried every 80 and 90 grain bullet available for service rifle competition - including VLD's and polymer tips. In my rifle, the Noslers group better than anything else at 600 without being fussy.

Outstanding bullet for ...

Outstanding bullet for long range service rifle competition.I used the same loading data that Sierra published for their 80gr .223.I used this bullet in service rifle competition and found the preformance to be outstanding.(Requires a twist of 1/8 or tighter)

These bullets seem to be ...

These bullets seem to be able to hold 1 moa shot out of my stock DCM Rock River ar15. Tried 6 different powders with these and 3 different primers: cci benchrest, Winchester sm rifle, and fed 205gm. Powders were RE-15, Varget, H4895, VhitN135, and others. Did all my load testing at 100yrd. Used a 14X scope for testing as well. 23g of Varget did best for me. Shot them in 2 matches and stayed supersonic all the way to the target at 600yrd no vertical strings, fairly consistent but the 80g Sierra's are a bit more accurate for me. The cost of these is about the same as Sierra's, for my money Sierra takes the cake. I've spoken to others in the western WA high-power scene and found 4 others who've have tried the 80g Nosler all except one have switched back to Sierra. That one person is a "master" level shooter, so he must be doing something right. If you found the right load any good rifleman could get these to shoot well. It just would happen that I didn't find a great load for it so for that reason I'll give it 4 stars.

Gave it 4 stars because I don't shoot it in formal competition. However, In my 22-250 8"twist coyote rig loaded with R22 it is my go to round because of its consistent velocity/accuracy. It also works great on those way out there porcupines and jackrabbits.

These 80 gr. bullets ...

These 80 gr. bullets shoot 1/2" 5 shot groups at 200 yards in my 22-250 Savage LRPV with a 1:9 twist barrel. The only complaint I have is the length of these bullets varies by as much as 0.010.
