I've shot a lot of these ...

I've shot a lot of these in my 7.5X55 Swiss in 200 yard as issued military matches. I'm running out of room for pins on my hat. Have shot several clean scores prone Slow Fire and one prone Rapid Fire. Bucks the wind pretty good even with my reduced load to shoot where the sights aim. Likes to touch the rifling in the short-throat K-31. Very accurate bullet for 200 yard shooting with low recoil.

Best bullet for the ...

Best bullet for the price! excellent results with a savage model 12 f/tr and and remington pss, both chambered in .308 win. shoots very well in both rifles with 44.0 grns of varget or 42.0 grns. of benchmark; both using lapua cases, cci BR2 primers, and seated .010'' off the lands. both rifles will go 1/4" to 3/8" @ 100 yards!

Tried my first batch this ...

Tried my first batch this weekend. Loaded with Varget right out of the Nosler book. Amazing group! I used to be a huge fan of the168 SMK but the performance of this bullet isawesome.

Was a Sierra customer for ...

Was a Sierra customer for years. Tried 20 of the Nosler 155 that a friend had given me. So to be fair in testing, I loaded Sierras and Nosler in 3 different load configurations. Used Varget, RE15 and IMR 4064. Used different loads with 5 Nosler and 5 Sierra. Shot them out of a Savage FP-10 1:10 twist, NightForce 22X scope at 200 yds. Thru the Chronograph the Noslers were faster with the same load. Groups were smaller with the Nosler. These shots were side by side comparisons. Same case batch, powder lots and primers. The only difference was the bullet. Needless to say I will be using Nosler for the 200 and 300 yard FTR competition from now on.

I loaded these with IMR ...

I loaded these with IMR 4895, CCI "hard" military primers and seated them to 2.8". With my 18" MIA these loads grouped exactly the same as factory Federal 165 gr. Gold Medal Match. This is a great bullet at a great price.

Shot these in a ...

Shot these in a sporterized Enfield I and a friend dolled up with a Boyds stock, Dayton Traister trigger and a 4-12x Bushnel scope. Loaded ten test lots of five each in Remington brass with IMR 4831 powder, with charges ranging from 48.5 to 53 grains. Groups were fair to poor until we shot the magic lot and Ohhhh Man! Groups closed from around two inches, give or take, immediately down to 5/16" c-c for four shots with one flyer; perfect clover leaf. My friend, who is who we did the rifle for, was exstatic! I have had similar, all be it somewhat more consistent results with a heavier version of this bullet in my Garand. The Nosler Competitions are an excellent bullet for accuracy shooting, no doubt.

I loaded these bullets ...

I loaded these bullets with IMR 4831 powder for my 300 Win. Mag. AWSOME!!! I was able to get consistent 1.25" groups at 500 yrds. out of my Sendero. Can't wait to try the 168 grain model and ring my Sendero some more!
